After a crazy, bonkers, hectic few weeks getting stuck into my role of Team Coordinator for Team GoToBermuda it was really fantastic to get an email from the Clipper Race office today informing me that I have been chosen as one of the two Dell Brand Ambassadors for the 2019-20 race.
What is this brand ambassador of which you speak Heather?
Well, it means in exchange for a super high spec, super rugged Dell Latitude tablet 7212 (rrp $4434) I will test the tablet in the field, so to speak, and send back pictures, vlogs and write some blog pieces showing the aforementioned tablet in action as I travel around the globe. It will also make my life as TC so much easier, being able to view our plans, documents and spreadsheets on an actual bash proof, splash proof, waterproof, cold and hot proof gadget rather than messing about with my iPad in a ziplock bag. I am incredibly proud to have been chosen to represent Dell. Thank you Dell in advance for believing in me, I will do you proud.
